An Appeal to The Church:

Are Eschatology & Salvation Unsettled?

I approach you with the greatest respect & admiration for the United Body of Christ & its many members. I pray this letter is received in the spirit of honesty & Christian integrity above all. I believe it has become incumbent upon me to address a matter within “The Church” that I believe is of utmost importance & urgently needed.

For nearly 2,000 years now, the Church has embarked on a dangerous path, which has led millions to their deaths, and once more, threatens world stabilization. Countless wars, numerous cultures & religions have long pursued the seemingly inevitable goal of “Armageddon”. Christians are by no means, the only perpetrators of this belief either. Both Judaism & Islam have their own ideas or versions of an Armageddon battle. I believe it safe to presume that your congregation both believes, and also perpetuates this belief. Would it be fair to also presume your congregation & message includes the future visible return of Christ?

I am not Anti-Semite, nor do I hate any person who is Jew, Arab or Muslim. Through my own studies of World History, the modern day conflicts in the middle-east and over religious tensions between these 3 monotheistic faiths in regards to both the absoluteness & reason for this Armageddon; I have discovered to be anything but a modern day invention. I will not beleaguer the points in this matter. My focus is on the Christian message itself, surrounding the “Coming, Parousia, Presence, Appearing and/or Return” of Christ. I wish to be understood in advance as one who entirely believes the messages given in scripture, which surround these “End Time” events. My purpose herein relates to their nearness or futurist connotations.

Much of the Religious world has an inordinate affinity with both the State of Israel, and her people. Those that I focus on in this matter would again be the Christians, or those who claim to be such; as well as Messianic Israelites, who believe Christ to be The Messiah. These are they who should cling to the sacred scripture in our Bible, namely the Old & New Testaments. When considering that Israel is still chosen, preferred and/or given preeminence over any/or all other nations, kindreds, tongues, people’s & tribes of the world, I hesitate to ask such a question from scripture.

What of Galatians 3:28? “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus” Understanding an outright and/or absolute rejection of this scripture or its message is understandable, if one comes from a Judaic perspective, as the writer of Galatians (some believe to be Paul) would be of no use and would receive no credibility. But as directed, my question goes to those who embrace Christ & his words, teachings and/or messages. Why do we shuffle this off as if temporarily irrelevant?

This verse goes to great lengths to not only establish, but solidify a reality, not currently enjoyed, practiced or apparently preached and/or believed by the over-whelming majority of those who say they follow this man, the Christ. I have likewise seen this verse used in atrocious ways to spin & sell a particular doctrine, but I believe anything other than the original intent, to be nothing less than destructive, and at best, misleading to the public at large.

The writer here was not informing mankind that there is no such thing as Jew, Greek, Male, Female, Free or Bond. Most can almost catch the inference but only apply it to the future kingdom of God, and not as a present day reality. In short, because man still focuses on the differences between the things mentioned. One can hardly look around and see both male and female, so the evidence points that this is not in reference to things we witness or can attest to, in the fleshly, physical world. The scripture reaches to demonstrate to man, that there is no preference in God or to God. God does not care if we are Jew, Greek, American, Russian, French or Italian. God sees no lines of distinction, as to preference between a male and female and God places no supreme value of free over bond, or vice versa. The entire picture is of the reconciliation or restoration, of Israel; but the true message goes deeper still.

The ending of the verse should be sufficient for any Bible believer: “for ye are all one in Christ Jesus” Is this to be treated as a God proclaimed reality, or do we relegate it to something allegorical or metaphorical, and thereby, simply something to be believed and strived for, but not an actual reality, while living in such a sinful world? When man reads and teaches scriptures such as “"We are seated in Heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6) We have been translated into the kingdom of his dear Son (Colossians 1:13) Death has been abolished (2nd Timothy 1:10) We have come unto Mt. Zion [New Jerusalem] (Hebrews 12:22) The flesh profits nothing (John 6:63) We have been quickened (Colossians 2:13) We are new creatures (2nd Corinthians 5:17) The kingdom comes not with observation (Luke 17:21) & Salvation was completed at the Cross (Hebrews 10:14)" but the "Church" teaches that these are only provisional, positional or metaphorical references? Where does surrounding context of these given verses, provide any indication, they were not modern day realities, almost 2,000 years ago”?

Are not all these statements; beliefs taught by the modern “Church” as truth, but only in part? Doesn’t the average “Church” teach that all the above listed things are spiritual realities that exist in the kingdom of God, but only exist in theory? How can one realize the flesh profits nothing; while being seated in Heavenly places, by virtue of being quickened & translated into the kingdom of his dear son, and believe that he is a new creature, that death has been abolished and that he has come unto Mt. Zion, the Heavenly or New Jerusalem; but merely be content these are all contingent realities, projected to be fact & realized at some continually postponed date in time?

I challenge the “Church” at large, and specifically your congregation, to prayerfully study and consider the following verse section; which I believe explains information of when these “End Time” events were meant to occur. [Matthew 21:23 – Matthew 24:34] I believe the greater “Church” has been fed, and continues to feed its members, a defeatist doctrine of Unfulfilled Eschatology & Unaccomplished Salvation. I challenge the “Church” at large, and specifically your congregation, to respectfully consider the idea that Christ has performed his word; the Word of God, explicitly and precisely as laid out both in scripture, and known to God before the foundation of the earth.

I humbly request an opportunity to visit with you & your congregation and examine these matters further. I hold no Religious Degrees and was instructed in these beliefs by no man, cult or seminary. The Eschatology that I affirm, and the Finished Salvation I speak of, come directly from the words in the scriptures, and need to interpretation, watering down, or other hermeneutical gymnastics, to understand. As given in the examples above; if one can properly demonstrate Biblical, Christ-taught Eschatology, through the infallible words of God, spoken to man through inspired prophets & writers, without the need for adding, removing or otherwise redefining words, phrases and/or their meanings, is that not our Christian duty?

A confused mind will always say no, but it is our hope that your minds will open to the concept of a fully risen, successful & vindicated Savior, who is everything & more, that we dream or imagine him to be. We are willing to travel to any location, which is open to exploring these and other ideas about

Fulfilled Eschatology & Completed Salvation.

A closing scenario to consider:

The defeatist & Escapist Eschatology, currently known as Futurist in scope, is damaging to mankind: both individually and collectively. Here are some things to consider.

Imagine you have this “Armageddon” scenario. You are convinced that it could all be over tomorrow or relatively soon, in your own natural lifetime? How will this affect the way you live? How many people who hold this view are: Going to School or working to better their lives? How many are not getting into relationships, getting married, or even having kids; because it could all be over soon? How many of these people live in a constant state of panic, fear, depression, anxiety, stress & worry? How many of these people are not planning, investing or even saving for tomorrow, or a rainy day?

Rather than trying to rationalize or excuse these actions and/or behaviors; try putting yourself in the shoes of those who live each day with these very real perceived or imagined constructs: What would happen to that mentality & those thoughts, fears, worries & emotions, if they were suddenly alleviated with the truth that Armageddon and all accompanying fanfare, has already happened and is not the ultimate destiny for mankind? How would those lives be changed, not only with the information being offered, but with the positive conviction, every word is true?

Let’s examine another very real and very scary truth:

Think of your Elected and/or Appointed Officials: Kings, Presidents, Prime Ministers, and Dictators (though most dictators would be atheist) Government agencies, Legislators (Law Makers) & Judiciary Bodies. Look at all levels: Local to where you live, National to your state or Country and even on an International basis. Think of those individuals (who have an Armageddon in mind) that are setting policies, laws, regulations, restrictions & recommendations. Look at the worldwide foreign tensions, relations, financial & economical policies, that are being put in place, by those who all the while, are convinced we’re living in “The Last Days” Is it any wonder the world glares with lustful/fearful eyes on Israel? Should it be a surprise to find Christian/Messianic Teachers who believe either the United States or Israel should launch a pre-emptive nuclear attack on Iran? Is it surprising to discover that Iran follows a faith that proudly proclaims hatred for Israel and avows her total destruction, which will usher in their Mahdi (12th IMAM/Savior/Messiah)? Who either accompanies or precedes the timing of the great deceiver/antichrist, as well as the return of Christ?

I am personally holding YOU responsible for this. The “Church” The “Body of Christ” this is; by & large, your own doing. Look around you: look at your pulpits; look at your pope, your pastors, your priests, your elders, deacons and bishops. Look around at your own clergy and holy men or women of God.

Listen to the messages they’re teaching. Are they? Are you teaching or believing in your own Armageddon? That you believe is based on one misunderstood verse? Where is the phrase “Battle of Armageddon” at in the Bible exactly? It doesn’t exist in the book of Revelation, this much I know to be true.

Revelation 16:16 “And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon” This says nothing of a “Battle of or even in Armageddon” Battle of Armageddon comes from Church History, Church Tradition, The Church Fathers and can even be extrapolated through many of The Creeds; but just like projecting the “Coming, Parousia, Return of Christ” into our own future, this prophesied “Battle of Armageddon” can not be proven exegetically from the Scriptures themselves. Only through the appeals to History, Tradition, Church Fathers & Creeds, can we develop either scenario.

Many of your popes, your pastors, your priests, your elders, deacons and bishops: Your own clergy and holy men or women of God; they’re preaching Death & Destruction, in place of Grace & Mercy. Why?

Because History, Tradition, Church Fathers or Creeds say so? It’s time to re-examine Biblical Eschatology (End Times) No Ecumenical (Church) Council (that I’m presently aware of) has ever been convened on Eschatology, and I’d be willing to bet none have ever been convened; where the eventual outcome would be determined through the words contained in the Bible: This would be only proper exegesis, would it not?

What is the “Church” what are “YOU” afraid of? If Prophesied, Eschatological items or events are in fact, meant for our own future, should not the scriptures themselves be the teacher, while setting aside uninspired doctrines & emotional pleas & arguments of men?

We can be reached through Email @ eschatology101@live.com you may also locate me on www.paltalk.com under the Nic of Eschatology 101. I can occasionally be reached through Yahoo Messenger as imjwbjr8. It’s time for the true message of peace to be preached from our pulpits & platforms. The time of the Reconciliation has come; it came through the messages & man of Christ himself.

The Writer of Galatians 3:28? “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus” tried telling Jew / Greek / Male / Female / Free / Bond, that “ALL are ONE” in Christ. This goes so much deeper than simple Eschatology. Accepting these realities will lead one to the “Ultimate Conclusion” that “YE ARE ONE IN CHRIST”

Romans 5:10 “For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life

2nd Corinthians 5:18 “And all things are of God, who has reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation

2nd Corinthians 5:20 “Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God

Colossian 1:21 “And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now has he reconciled

There can be no confusion as to the intention of the writer(s) of these verses, but for History, Traditions, and Church Fathers & Creeds. I believe Romans 5:10 contains the cement “we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son” I believe this exact sentiment is also characterized is my last scripture on the subject: Hebrews 10:14 “For by one offering he has perfected for ever them that are sanctified

Why is the “Church” Why is “Man” Why are “YOU” teaching these are not present day realities to us, as well as fulfilled promises to those who first received these words & messages?
